Tali Nabum

Field Assistant, Eastern Himalaya

Tali Nabum is our youngest field assistant from Darlong Village. He has been working with us since 2013. He has an excellent eye for spotting animals and ripe fruits hidden in the canopy. He speaks a variant of English language (for e.g. digest is jagdis, reject is rejitet), which only few members of the field team comprehend. The field team at Pakke is earnestly trying to document this language that is fast being lost.
